As with last time, I think whenever someone dedicates a book to a parent it's fairly obvious why. Without them, none of what you do would be possible... let alone what you write. That said, there are some meanings beyond my conception that influenced the dedication. Some of my fondest memories of childhood involved watching science fiction shows with my Dad. All the classic shows that our generation enjoyed, he introduced me to. Star Trek: The Next Generation, Gargoyles, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman... all the greats of the late eighties and early ninties that still influence my work to this day, albeit in small ways. He also watched my first horror flick with me, House. Love that flick. Although it's not mentioned in the printed dedication (and probably should be), my Dad also literally got me started writing. He sat me down in front of my first computer, showed me how to open a word processing program and gave me my own folder to save in. I think I was eight. He was also the first person I ever gave a story of mine to to read, a one-page Ninja Turtles episode I scripted (again, I was eight). For those reasons and too many more to list here,
